HUD stats useless now?

With the player pool getting smaller and regs constantly adapting, I’m starting to wonder if HUD stats are losing value. All these people talk about making decisions with databases but if half the table changes usernames every session or tables are anonymous, then you’re not exactly tracking much except pure guesses. I see more guys just watching showdowns and relying on gut with recent history anyway.

Feels like you’re better off tightening up and making simple, repeatable moves than investing energy in some old spreadsheet that isn’t keeping up. When I play blackjack or roulette, I prioritize what I can act on right now, not a wall of stats from sessions ago. Curious how others are actually approaching it these days since online just keeps getting weirder.
