Why does the min raise mess with people’s heads so much? It feels like every time I try one, someone at the table either calls in frustration or gets annoyed enough to shove over the top. The reactions are always stronger than what you’d think for such a basic play. I get why big raises shake things up, but the min raise seems to have its own weird psychological effect.
