Min raise misclick
I was deep in a 1/2 cash game online, just kind of vibing through the hands and had my snacks out, not really in “serious” mode. I meant to 3-bet someone with AK suited but instead I misclicked and put in a min-raise, barely above the previous bet. In blackjack, you can second guess and backtrack, but that click is just gone in poker. It was like my finger had its own mind for half a second.
I never know whether to play out the hand as if I meant it, or start acting like I’m playing a totally different holding. Does anyone try to salvage these spots with some wild line to confuse the table, or is it better just to stick to the plan and hope for the best? For me, I always feel like the table can just smell the weak click from a mile away and they all start floating lighter or jamming on nothing, especially live. Maybe it’s just variance, or maybe I just need to stop snacking during hands. Curious what others do about accidental tiny raises, especially in online games where you can’t give off any nervous ticks.
