Why does everyone suddenly wake up with aces when I have kings?

For a while now, whenever I pick up kings, it seems like somebody wakes up with aces right behind me.
Not one hand either.
Over a few months of 1/2 and 1/3 live, I can think of about 7 times I got it in pre with KK, and 4 ran into AA (I haven't kept a proper count).
A couple were older-guy opens and back raises,
a couple I 3-bet thinking I was well ahead,
and one was blind vs blind. That one tilted me a bit!
Is this just sticking in my head because it's such a rough spot?
I still almost never fold KK pre.
thanks

Edit: Only counting preflop all-ins or clear preflop cooler spots

4 out of 7 is just variance, you remember the aces and forget the folds. I dont fold kings pre either.

That fold part, never happening, not once. Kings go in.

I had KK run into AA twice in one evening, then it didn’t happen again for ages.

I’m still getting the money in preflop with kings, not much else to do with them.
