aces cracked 4 times in one session, normal or time to quit

Had a pretty rough poker night, aces got cracked 4 times in like two hours. I know it happens but wow, by the fourth one I was just about numb. Three of them weren’t even wild boards, just folks calling down with random suited connectors or underpairs. Not sure if it’s just the run of cards or if I’m missing something in the way I play big hands. I wasn’t slow-playing, just went pretty standard pre and post flop.

I try to stay even-keel and not tilt but at a certain point it just gets in your head a little, you know? I hear stories about people folding pocket aces pre out of paranoia but that can’t be right either. Hard not to wonder if it’s some sign I should just take a break, though.

How often do you all see aces get busted in a single session, and do you just keep plugging or walk away when the beats stack up?
