Turn shove bad?

was grinding out a little 1/2 last night, table was pretty loose and i wasn’t exactly running hot, just picking spots and nursing the stack. two hands before the break i get dealt 77 in mid, a couple limps before me, i bump it to $12, button and sb call, flop comes 6-5-4 rainbow. it checks to me, i throw out $20, both call again, turn is an ace. sb checks again, i figure the ace is better for my range than theirs, so i rip it for the rest, about $80, but almost immediately get snap-called by the button. turned out button had a4 suited, snapped off my stack pretty clean.

starting to wonder if the shove is too spewy there, or if i just ran into the top of their limp-calling range. part of me thinks just check the turn and avoid the big swing, but i don’t know, feels weak sometimes. and yeah, i know i’m used to slower blackjack grinds but the up-and-down in these spots gets the blood moving for sure. need to stop thinking i can bluff people off two pair with the same confidence as catching 21 on a soft 18.
