Roulette table geometry: why do some positions lose more than others

I’ve been tracking results over a lot of sessions and I swear some spots around the wheel just seem to hit way less. Like, I get streaks on certain numbers but others go ice cold way more often than I’d expect by pure chance. Not talking about just random runs, it feels like there’s something with how the wheel’s built or maybe how the croupier spins it. I know it’s supposed to be random, but I can’t shake the feeling some positions are doomed.

I’ve read about wheel bias and stuff, but I’m talking about even on new tables in different places. Even tried switching up my angles, tracking different croupiers, but it’s like there’s always a dead zone where nothing hits. Wondering if anyone else has actually logged enough spins to see something similar or maybe it’s just cognitive bias. There’s got to be some underlying explanation besides just bad luck, right?

logging spins for live dealer gold roulette, i chased the same feeling - three pockets near zero just never seemed to pay off, even when switching tables. i learned the hard way, short-term tracking creates patterns that vanish over huge samples. if you want an edge, try betting on the racetrack section that feels 'cold' for just one session and track how it feels, but always treat those streaks as noise, not signal. it’s just variance messing with our heads, not table geometry, especially on new wheels.
