anyone notice roulette balls bounce differently based on spin force

Been watching the wheel for a while now, and I swear the ball doesn’t always act the same. Sometimes when the croupier gives it that extra little flick, it skips around like it’s bouncing on hot coals, but when the spin is slower, it hugs the track longer and kind of just trickles into a pocket. Anyone else find themselves squinting at the wheel, thinking they might be onto some kind of physics hack? Not that I’d actually bet the rent money on predicting where it’ll land, but I get the urge to try and track if certain dealers spin it harder or softer and if that’s actually affecting the outcomes.

I’ve noticed the same kind of thing with old-school slot machines too, when you can tell if it’s been “warmed up.” I guess the machines and wheels have a mind of their own sometimes. Curious what others have seen.

Yeah i’ve done the squinting thing lol, and the only blunt fact i landed on is dealer spin means waaay less than people want it to unless the wheel itself is a little janky. Clean roulette eats your “physics hack” dreams soooo fast lmao...

Watching dealer hands in roulette is how you end up inventing astrology for a street bet lol. Only time I thought I had a read, the wheel clowned me fast.
