Back to Roulette

does studying roulette odds actually help your decision making.

so i’ve read through all the usual charts and edge breakdowns for roulette, even ran some sims myself, and honestly it just feels like i’m looking at the same 97 percent return numbers over and over. everyone swears studying the odds makes you a better player, but the ball does what it wants and no amount of memorizing payouts seems to help when you’re actually deciding what to bet next. i keep thinking there’s some edge in spotting non-random patterns or bias, but online wheels are supposed to be flawless. offline is a different story, i guess, but then you’re still stuck fighting the house edge.

do you guys feel like all the extra stats and tables actually move the needle when you’re choosing bets, or is it more about feeling out the table and rolling with whatever’s hot?

Nah, studying roulette odds mostly just stopped me from making dumb “high or low” clicks when I was bored, that’s it lol. If I’m thinking about edge I’d rather put that brainpower into sports betting lines, roulette just eats bankroll cleaner, especially american roulette, and online weirdness makes me trust it even less ngl!!!
