dozens keep missing

Lately I've noticed the dozens bet just goes cold for long stretches, like way longer than what you'd expect for "random." Been trying to mix in second and third dozens on different spins but I keep getting hit with four or five misses in a row, even with those. Not talking about single numbers either, just the basic dozens. Happens mostly on the live dealer wheels, not so much the auto ones.

I keep hearing about some folks using progression or swapping out after two losses, but it feels like chasing. When you look back at the spin history, there's always these big gaps where your section just doesn't land. It starts messing with my consistency because the urge is strong to double down, but I know that's just the gambler’s fallacy creeping in.

Anyone have a system for managing when dozens seem to be frozen, or is this just the standard pain of roulette?
