best slots for actually enjoying a long session

I like to mix it up between poker and slots but man, some of these slots just eat your credits way too fast. I’m looking for something that’ll let me chill and spin for an hour or two without ripping through my bankroll in ten minutes. High variance is fun for big wins but it’s a mood killer if you’re not seeing any bonus rounds forever.

Do you guys aim for the games that have lots of smaller wins to stretch things out? Or maybe something with frequent features that pop up a lot to keep you entertained? I get that everything’s stacked in the house’s favor but I don’t want to feel like I’m just lighting money on fire.
