slot machine emotions and whether these actually affect your play

Noticed lately I’m way more impatient when playing slots compared to blackjack. Every near-miss or cold streak feels personal somehow, like the machine is messing with me. I read that being emotional can mess with your judgment and make you chase losses without really thinking it through. With blackjack I don’t get as wound up since there’s a system to follow, but slots just feel different - guess because there’s literally no control.

Wondering if anyone’s actually changed their strategy or session limits just based on how they’re feeling at the time. Does it make any real difference to track your moods, or is that just overthinking something that’s pure chance?

yeah, track it. not because it changes the machine, obviously, but because it changes when you start hitting spin like a rat with rent due. i had to admit i only "liked" slots when i was already irritated. blackjack at least gives me a script, house edge is cleaner in my head. slots, i get petty fast, which annoys me because some people can just sit there calm!!!
