Wild reel question?

so i’ve been noticing some patterns when wild reels drop in certain slots but i can’t figure out if it’s really random or just pseudo-random weighted by the game’s mechanics. sometimes i’ll see a wild reel show up early and then basically nothing for the rest of the spins, other times it clusters like crazy. i know rtp is supposed to be over the long haul, but the distribution just feels off sometimes, almost like a streak in poker where variance gets spicy.

for those who dig into the math, do you track each spin or just sessions? i keep feeling like if i logged them manually i’d see a pattern, but maybe that’s just my brain forcing order on noise.

Yeah, log it if you want, just don’t expect revelation. I did this on Book of Dead for 1,200 spins one night, seat 14 at a riverboat joint years back, and all it really showed was hit frequency comes in ugly little clumps, wild reels included, same old pseudo-random stuff really

Seat 14 and a 1,200-spin diary tells me nothing except how fast people get romantic about noise. The only distinction that matters is reel strips versus feature triggers. Wild reels can feel "off" without anything mystical going on, and this sure as hell isn't poker.

Maybe, but bonus pacing skews the feel. I track sessions, not spins. Reel clumps are REAL.

I've had wild reels go dead right after free spins start, every time 😑

Reel clumps or not, if your bet size is hopping around the data’s trash lol. Same crap as guys nuking sports betting bankrolls live, flat min bet, 500 spins, then talk

Poker brain. I log 200 spins, then quit 🙂

Wild reels can cluster randomly due to variance, so tracking individual spins over a large sample is better than relying on session patterns or streaks.
