RTP option changed?

Has anyone else noticed the RTP settings suddenly dropping on some slot games? Last week, I saw my usual options but now the "high" RTP just isn't there anymore. I checked the game info and it looks like they're only showing a lower setting. This definitely changes my risk calculations and long-term expectations. I always go for the higher RTP, so this throws a wrench into my system.

I'm wondering if this is just temporary or if casinos are standardizing the lower RTP settings to cut into our edge. Anyone seen this with multiple providers or is it just isolated cases? Are you doing anything different when you notice these shifts?

Yeah I’ve seen it on multiple providers, not just one. People talk like it’s random lol, nah, lower RTP configs get swapped in and my bankroll just moves on.

Yeah, Ive seen it, and no, I dont think its some spooky temporary glitch. A lot of these places just swap in the lower config when they think nobody's looking. Thats the part that gets me, not the tiny percent, the quiet switch. I had a couple usual slots with free spins and cascading reels do exactly that, I checked the info screen, laughed, closed em and went back to poker for the night. At least in poker when the game gets worse its usually obvious, some clown sat down or the rake sucks. This hidden-setting stuff is cheap and boring

cascading reels is usually where the promo fluff starts for me

roulette feels less sneaky to me tbh i missed an rtp drop once and kept spinning like a mug still annoys me sooo much
