hi, i've been trying a few play’n go slots again because i don't mind grinding through dead patches if the game can still wake up, but everywhere i look people are calling them stale or skipping them completely. i still see decent bonus setups in some of them, so is the issue the base game being too flat now, or have they changed something with how often they land compared with before
No i dont think they slashed the bonus rate across the board, its more that when you finally hit one its paying like 10-15x and youre just sitting there like ok now what
i've been noticing this too, like you open five different play'n go titles and it's the same bones underneath. free spins, expanding symbol, whatever, just reskinned with different art. hit rate wise i don't think it shifted much cause i still land bonuses around the same cadence i did two years ago on the older ones. it's the formula feeling copied, the little sound when three scatters drop is identical across half their catalog and that's the thing that kills it for me way more than dead spins ever did

base games are the real killer for me. little wins barely cover anything, so by the time a bonus lands im already drained.
havent noticed features landing less often tho, its the spins between that feel pointless
