Wanted Dead or a Wild, scariest base game ever made?
I swear Wanted Dead or a Wild has one of the nastiest base games I've sat through. Not even talking bad session, just the way it plays in general. Spins go by and it looks dead dead dead, then you get a tease and nothing lands, over and over...
What gets me is how brutal it is before anything proper starts. On a lot of slots the base can at least keep you awake a bit, this one can just torch through and make every near miss look important when it isnt.
I still play it because when it hits it hits, but the base game on this thing is pure stress and I don't think another slot tops it for that

It earns that reputation. Even a 1x or 2x hit barely dents a hundred-spin run, so the base still feels harsher than an ordinary dry patch. You can get a little back and still feel like you’re nowhere.
