Slot volatility: how do you actually choose between high and low
so i'm trying to wrap my head around how to actually pick slots based on volatility instead of just going by theme or graphics. high volatility seems cool for the massive hits but i don't have an unlimited roll, and losing streaks mess with my head more than i'd like. low volatility feels safer but when the wins are tiny it just drags on and gets boring fast. tried reading about rtp too but it doesn't really help with short sessions.
for anyone who actually thinks about this, what are you looking for when deciding between high or low volatility slots, especially if you don't have a set win target?
I flip between Legacy of Dead for bigger swings and low-vols if I want something mindless, same as how I'd swap between roulette outside bets and straight numbers. Ever tried logging your mood before picking?
