Sports betting odds shopping and whether it actually matters that much.
i see a lot of people saying you always need to odds shop for every bet or you're throwing away cash. i get the theory and i've seen dudes pull up six sites at once looking for a half point edge but for me it feels like the juice and time spent adds up, especially if you're only betting on the weekends or tossing in some live bets during a game. i mostly bet nfl spreads and mlb totals and maybe grab a casino bonus when i'm bored. i get maximizing value but i wonder how much it really matters over time for small to mid sized bets, or if it's only a big deal for the grinders.
is there a point where it's just not worth it for the casual player, or am i missing free money on the table?
