sportsbook says max stake cut because i bet “non recreational markets”
So out of nowhere, the sportsbook slapped a max stake limit on my account and said it’s because I’m betting “non recreational markets.” The only thing I’ve really changed is I’ve been digging into a lot of obscure props, especially for baseball and a few late-night tennis lines. I barely mess with big parlays or the main stuff everyone else is hyped about. Apparently, that’s enough to get noticed.
I get that they want casual players dumping money on popular lines but I figured if these bets are being offered, what’s the problem if I want to have a go? It’s not like I’m dropping huge sums or cashing out every day. Just trying to be patient, watch the stats, and maybe catch an edge here and there. Anybody else run into this? Did you just switch books, or is it worth trying to argue it with support?
