Czechia vs Croatia — How Do You See This One Going?

Czechia vs Croatia is one of the more interesting fixtures from the opening round of the Nations League, especially with both teams starting a new chapter. The game is set for September 26 at Fortuna Arena in Prague.

I was checking out Twinqo Czechia vs Croatia matchup earlier and thought this was worth discussing here.

Czechia are back in League A after their promotion from League B, so this is a pretty demanding group for them with Croatia, England and Spain all involved. Croatia, on the other hand, have plenty of experience at this level and know how to handle these kinds of games.

The head-to-head record makes things even more interesting. Croatia have remained unbeaten in their previous meetings with Czechia, but a lot of those games have been close and ended in draws. Their most recent meeting in Prague finished 0-0, so I wouldn't expect this to be an easy game for either side.

There are also some interesting questions around the squads. Czechia have had some important changes, while Croatia still have experienced players like Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic who can control the tempo when the game gets tight.

I'm honestly not sure whether this will be a high-scoring game or another fairly cautious one. Home advantage could make a big difference for Czechia, but Croatia's experience in League A shouldn't be overlooked either.
