Do you bet differently on weekends?

I kinda catch myself betting a little differently on weekends compared to weekdays. Seems like there’s just more hype around the games and sometimes I get swept up in the action, especially if I’m chatting with buddies or hanging in a live dealer blackjack room. Weekdays I feel way more chill about it, smaller bets, and more careful picks. But come Friday night, I’ll toss a bit more into some riskier plays, like chasing parlays or spinning on some slots between hands.

Curious if it’s just the weekend buzz getting to me or if this is pretty normal. Anyone else notice a switch in their habits, or do you stick to the same plan no matter what day it is?

Yeah, but not from hype. Weekends just mean more markets and more LIVE nonsense. I end up passing more than betting...

Yeah, weekends I get worse, not hyped, just irritated. Live blackjack fills up, table max jumps from $25 to $100, then I go place some dumb hedge bet at -112 on a Saturday card like that somehow fixes my mood, it never does

Weekends are probably where dumb first scorer bets start

First scorer is just the weekend version of boredom betting. Live dealer chatter nudges guys off flat betting fast.

First scorer is just slots-brain with a jersey on

Worse when the live dealer starts chirping and suddenly some stupid outright feels "fun" enough to bet

Nah, blackjack cooks me faster than Sundays do

It’s not even the speed for me, it’s the pileup. Weekends give you too many “close enough” bets at once, and if I waste ten minutes on slots I start forcing EV that isn’t there.

its not even sundays for me its that dead hour before kickoff when im parked in a blackjack room bc theres one seat open and suddenly a lazy draw no bet sounds smart !!! did that last saturday and it felt less like a switch and more like plain boredom tbh

Boredom, sure, but the worse part is that pre-kick public money makes bad prices look oddly respectable. I don’t even need the blackjack seat. A few slot spins in the gap and I’m suddenly defending some match line I had no business touching.
