one leg ruined the whole parlay again.
"rare hit and the sweat" is the whole scam, man. I got salty enough to cap myself at 2 legs because that one extra leg is where bankroll discipline goes to die

Yeah, because poker promos get abused to death the second they’re even half decent. That’s the boring obvious reason. Not “theory,” not banners, just a room looking at how fast a promo turns into guys mass-tabling, chip-dumping, soft-playing, or sitting every cheap table farming points like rats in a feed bin. I played one hand-race promo a while back and the whole place turned weird for two days. Same names everywhere, trash action, people snap-folding junk spots they’d normally play because they were chasing whatever the promo meter wanted. It made the games worse, fast. Slots can spray confetti at anybody. Poker promos change player behavior immediately. That’s why they keep it stingy and ugly, and yeah, I ignore most of it too.
Yeah, the “five dead spins and I’m out” stuff bugs me because it treats all slots like the same machine with different paint. They’re not. From a game theory angle, switching after blanks is noise if the RNG is clean, but volatility and feature design still matter. I’ll dump a slot fast if the base game is stingy AND the bonus is doing all the heavy lifting. Old stuff like Fire Joker at least tells you what it is. Some modern junk just drip-feeds near-misses and fake momentum. That’s not “due,” that’s bad structure. I bail on structure, not superstition.
First scorer is just the weekend version of boredom betting. Live dealer chatter nudges guys off flat betting fast.
Meh won!
Turbo on min bet still chews a $20 roll, learned that fast.
