Why do the bets I overthink always lose?

Last week I spent 20 or 30 minutes going over a bet, had four stats angles in my head, then talked myself off the straight -110 side and took +145. It lost by a point. The quick plays have been better for me lately, which is annoying! What should I stop doing when I start picking apart every angle? Can I just trust the simpler read if the price is still decent?

the overthinking is the bet at that point.

4 angles on a coin flip is just you talking yourself into a worse price

losing by a point doesnt make the +145 a bad bet, had a +130 lose late and the price still looked fair (based on my win chance).

if the extra angles arent changing your estimate enough to move off -110 id stay with the simple read, writing down my fair odds before each bet helped after about 40 bets id catch myself reacting to one recent stat
