Anyone using spreadsheets or apps to track bets properly?

been thinking about getting more serious with tracking wins and losses. right now i just jot stuff down on my phone notes but honestly it gets messy and i forget half of what’s actually in play, especially after a couple days of sessions mixing poker and slots. i hear people talk about keeping spreadsheets or using apps but not sure what actually works best, especially if you play a mix of stuff like me and bounce around between sports bets, some blackjack, and random slots runs.

i’m not super disciplined about putting in notes right away, so i wonder if there’s a lazy-proof way to do it without just cluttering up my phone again. also interested in stuff that doesn’t take forever to set up, like i don’t want to build out formulas or whatever on my own if i can avoid it. anybody got suggestions? do you notice any edge from tracking, or does it just feel like extra work without much benefit?

If tracking feels tedious, try focusing just on bankroll swings instead of every bet detail. Not perfect, but even a simple trend helps spot if a game type (like blackjack) is bleeding chips faster than you realize.

Bankroll is optionality in this game, so even sloppy tracking is better than none, but for sports bets at least, a quick voice memo after each session nails context you forget later. Ever notice the pain of losing stings less if you can see what actually drained the roll?

spreadsheet sounds boring but if you’re betting sports, poker, slots, and casino together it’s the only way to spot patterns you’re blind to in notes. have you tried just logging bet confirmation screenshots to a folder as a quick backup, then batch entering once a week?
