Lost 10 bets straight… do I take a break or double down?

Been running colder than a crypto wallet I can’t remember the keys to. Lost ten straight bets, mostly soccer and a couple NBA. Nothing reckless - usually picking live underdogs or low-odds favorites, mix of singles and a parlay or two. Watching the bankroll shrink definitely stings but feels like if I just grind it out, my luck should flip. Not sure if that's the right call or just gambler’s fallacy kicking in. I try to stick to stats and tracking form, but even then, variance is slapping me around.

A couple of friends keep saying to just take a week off and reset but I get bored fast. I was also tempted to try doubling my units for the next couple bets, but that sounds like a good way to torch my roll for real. Has anyone pushed through a streak like this and come out on top, or is it actually smarter to just step away and clear the head?

pushing harder after ten Ls is like shoving all in with a weak hand just hoping the river bails you out. stepping back resets your focus so variance can’t tilt your game even more.

Doubling after ten straight losses rarely ends well. I’d scale down stakes and log each bet outcome to spot any blind spots.

try switching to a random slot session with strict limits, just for a palate cleanse. sometimes breaking the cycle is what unclogs the mojo.

I'd cut unit size and review your betting history for any sneaky patterns. Ever tried tracking which leagues or odds ranges cost you most?
