I keep chasing losses and it’s getting bad… how do you stop?
So my bankroll keeps shrinking because I can’t seem to just call it after a loss. If I miss a bet by a late goal or a weird injury, I instantly start scrolling for the next line, hoping to even things up. Most of the time, it just spirals and I end up way deeper in the hole. I know everyone says to just stick to your unit size and not get emotional, but in the moment it feels impossible. I’ll tell myself I’ve got an edge or that I’ll just put down a little extra this once, and next thing I know I’ve blown my stop-loss for the week.
Does anyone else get this tunnel vision? What do you do to actually force yourself to log off or walk away when you’re tilted and chasing? Is it just cold discipline, or is there something that actually helps in the moment when logic is out the window?
