best blackjack game if you want the dealer standing on soft 17?

I always look for tables where the dealer stands on soft 17, feels like it saves me from some brutal losses over time. But every casino seems to have their own weird take on blackjack these days. Some have double deck, some six or eight, and the rules change just enough to mess with your strategy.

For folks who know their stuff, is there a specific table or variation you always hunt down when you want soft 17 rules? Does it change your bet sizing at all, or is that just me being stubborn?

Double deck blackjack with dealer standing on soft 17 is my sweet spot, especially live dealer if I can find a seat. I’ll up my bets a touch, but only if splits and doubles stay player friendly.

whenever i go after soft 17 tables in online casinos, i watch how flexible they are with split aces. that rule can quietly wipe out any edge you think you’re gaining. one spot bit me hard when they allowed only one card after a split, which pretty much neuters the split. so for me, soft 17 only matters if the ace splitting rules also stack up. that little caveat keeps me from overcommitting my bets, even when the rest looks player friendly.
