best blackjack if you want to play dealer position

thinking about home games where someone wants to rotate as the dealer, not just play against the house. i know the odds flip a little when you're not up against the house rules. i’m curious what rules or setups people like best when dealer rotates - do you stick to standard hit/stand or does your crew use weird variants? i trust the process, but i always wonder if there’s a way to make it fair so you don’t get stuck as dealer on a bad streak. sometimes we run single deck for speed. would be cool to hear how people do it.

The "stuck as dealer on a bad streak" part gets blamed way too much, honestly. In our games the swing came from dumb rule drift, not the chair. Pick one sheet, dealer stands on 17, no weird mid-hand exceptions, rotate every shoe or every 20 hands and quit fiddling. Same reason live dealer stuff feels cleaner than a home game, less freelancing!!! Single deck is fine, just don't keep changing rules because somebody got clipped twice

Single deck is where my crew always got weird, same guys begging roulette after 20 mins, kinda jealous you got a steady home game
