played perfect basic strategy and still got rinsed faster than slots somehow
Played about two hours of BJ last night, full-on basic strategy, checked charts, nothing wild or “gut feeling.” Somehow the losses just stacked up, faster than any slot session I’ve had in months. Kept my bets flat, didn’t chase, literally just got handed one losing hand after another. It almost felt like auto-loss mode. Only thing I did wrong was probably not walking away after the first endless string of dealer 20s.
I’ve always said roulette is volatile, but after this it almost felt more predictable. At least when you get a bad run on slots, you can just shrug it off and blame volatility. With blackjack, it kinda stings since you know the edge is low, and you expect to at least tread water sometimes. Anyone ever hit a losing streak like that playing strict basic? What’s your “loss limit” for walking away and do you stick to it, or always try to play through a session?
