Blackjack pays 6:5?

so at my usual live dealer table, they just switched from 3,2 to 6,5 on blackjacks and honestly i’m not happy about it. i get that they’re doing it for “house edge” or whatever, but it feels like such a cheap move. most of the regulars seem annoyed but a couple folks said it’s still worth playing if you like the vibe and chat. feels like it makes counting even less appealing though. curious how others are thinking about this - still playing, or switching tables?

Yeah, 6:5 is a pretty noticeable downgrade. The house edge jumps compared with a 3:2 game, so if you're choosing purely on the math, I'd switch tables and look for better rules. If the vibe is the main reason you play, that's different, but I wouldn't pretend the 6:5 payout doesn't matter.

The part that gets me is people acting like “vibe” only applies to blackjack. If i’m sitting in a live studio for the dealer and chat, i’d rather just play roulette where the bad deal is at least honest and the game statistics are right there. 6:5 is sooo nickle and dimey, i’m out

Nah the bit people miss is 6:5 on live dealer is a rule downgrade, not just “bad odds.” Sports betting lines are right there before I click, this stuff feels way grimier lol, yeah I'd dip too

Roulette stats, sure, but those live studio camera angles are usually garbage. I'd still take a clean blackjack table over that.

Yeah nah, I’d bounce. I stayed on a bad live table once because the dealer banter was decent and the audio feed felt like a little casino lullaby, real clown behavior on my part. If I’m taking worse math, I may as well go lose at Roulette honestly.

Same here. I ditched a crypto casino studio table over 6:5. Felt like paying for bad wallpaper.
