perfect pairs paid wrong?

so i hit perfect pairs on a live blackjack table last night, got two jacks same suit, should be the max payout. the dealer pays me like 20 to 1, not the 30 to 1 the table showed on the sign. everyone at the table is side-eyeing each other like did we just get shorted or what. i didn’t even argue because i was up on the night and didn’t want the hassle, but now i’m replaying it in my head thinking about how many units i lost on that.

just curious if anyone else has actually been paid the right odds for perfect pairs or if the payout display is just for show.

I'd definitely check the table rules before assuming the dealer shorted you. Perfect Pairs can have different payout tiers depending on the table. But if the sign clearly said 30:1 for same-suit pairs and you got 20:1, I'd screenshot the rules and ask support to review the hand. I've seen payout-display confusion on Gamdom and other live casino platforms too.

tbh if it was a speed table, did the felt say 30:1 or the little ui?

Haha, 20 to 1 is definitely a long shot.

nah the annoying part isnt that its a long shot, its that these side bets get dressed up with bonusy promo junk so ppl shrug off getting nicked on the math. perfect pairs on infinite blackjack is already greasy enough without the dealer rotation vibe where nobody owns the mistake anyway
