dealer keeps making 20 from 5 upcard and im losing my mind

i swear, every time the dealer shows a 5 up, i’m thinking easy street, but then it’s like a magic trick - flips over a 10 and bam, pulls another face card for 20. i start wondering if i’m on some hidden camera show or the universe just wants my chips for snack money.

i get folks say “just stick to the math, you’ll win in the long run,” but when it’s five shoes in a row and they NEVER bust, that “long run” starts feeling like the walk to the moon. anyone else riding this weird wave lately, or is it just my luck that’s broken?

It’s variance, especially online. Dealer 5 feels “just” until the hole card is a ten and the run keeps going

Yeah, that wave is real lol, but five shoes means nothing. Variance cooks your bankroll fast when the dealer runs stupid hot!!!

Exactly. A few hot shoes can feel brutal, but that's just variance doing its thing. It's why I never read too much into short-term streaks, even on Gamdom.

What fries people is they see a 5 and start spending the pot early lol. Dealer 5 is still a losing game with house edge sitting there, not some coupon code!!! And if it's live dealer, the real-time stream just makes every punch feel personal lmao
