card scanner glitch

So last night at the crypto casino, the card scanner at my table totally glitched out - one of those automated ones, not a human dealer. We were three hands in when it started double-counting cards and threw up an error. The game froze for like five minutes and the pit boss rebooted the system, but I’m not convinced everything got reset properly. The shoe felt off after that, like the probabilities were just weird. I was keeping a running count before the crash, but I ditched it after because it didn’t add up.

I know some people think glitches like this can actually give you an edge if you pay close attention, but honestly I feel like it’s more likely the opposite - messes up any kind of analysis or strategy. Anyone else run into scanner issues? Did you keep playing through it or bounce to another table when things seemed off?

Yeah i’m out the second an online casino has to “reboot” mid hand lol. Not even an edge thing, it’s trust. Had a roulette win get voided after a cute little system/rule switch once and yesss that was enough for me, gone gone.

nah, the dumb obvious thing is your blackjack count is cooked after that, so why sit there pretending card counting still means anything lol. i’ve had a shoe go goofy after a scanner burp and i bounced fast fast, because once i’m guessing i’m just donating, and i hate that feeling lmao
