Blackjack Switch variant

Do you play Blackjack Switch much? I'm about to sit at a table with it and I can't tell if switching the top cards is really better or if the push on dealer 22 kills it. I'm still new to blackjack (regular one), and that rule annoyed me!

Played it maybe a dozen times. The swap keeps me awake, but three dealer 22s in a row and I'm done for the night

Three pushes and you quit? I play it most weeks and the 22 rule never chased me off, that's just the cost of the swap.

id stick with regular blackjack while ur still learning, a dealer 22 in switch can push a hand that wouldve won in regular blackjack so swapping the top cards doesnt make it an upgrade for me. three pushes and im out most of the time, happens more than id like at the live dealer tables

Why's a 22 push worse than a bust?

that 22 push is a drag, you get to 20 or 21 and then the dealer ties you, those wins count in regular blackjack. switching is useful but im sticking with regular while im learning, dont need to pick up two versions at once.

live dealer is easier to follow too, seeing the cards come out helps (assuming the table is clear on the rules)

Live dealer isnt easier, its slower. Switch now, regular feels dead after.

Switching is the better part of it. I've had an awkward pair turn into two much more playable hands. The dealer push on 22 is a real cost, but it hasn't made the switch feel pointless.
