why do some casinos make you claim bonuses super far in advance

just noticed again how some casinos ask you to claim their promos days or even weeks in advance. i get that they want people coming back, but it always messes with my planning for poker or other action. sometimes you don’t even know if you’ll be playing that day, so it’s weird to lock yourself in so early.

i’ve seen a few places with real-time or instant claim bonuses and that’s way more flexible, but it feels like the advance ones are more common lately, especially on crypto sites. does anyone actually plan this far ahead for a bonus, or am i missing some bigger reason they set it up like this?

nah, most people are not planning that far ahead, i did it a few times and all it did was make me feel obligated to log in and force action when i should've passed. that early claim stuff is just a commitment trick, plain as day, and once i stopped touching those promos my play got calmer...

Yeah on crypto casinos it’s just breakage math lol, i claimed one early then missed it by two days, so dumb
