reload bonus tracker reset after i switched games

I was grinding out this reload bonus, basically nose to the spreadsheet, clicking away like some caffeine-fueled robot. I started off on blackjack for my standard slow and steady, then got bored and jumped over to video poker. I swear my bonus tracker was at 75% done, then boom, swapped games, went back to check it, and it shows 40%. Either I'm misremembering always possible, my memory is as reliable as my car's gas gauge or something weird happened.

I know some of these promos are sneaky and only count certain games. This one didn’t say anything special, at least not in the giant wall of text that I obviously only skimmed. Anyone else have this happen? Is there a pattern to which games cause a reset, or am I just lucky like that? I’d be less annoyed if my spreadsheet wasn’t so detailed. Spent longer setting that up than playing. Ego took a nice hit with this one.

yeah thats the dumb obvious one, blackjack to video poker prob changed the contribution rate and the tracker just recalced same as when sports betting promos flip on u

Blackjack usually counts different than VP, yeah, but side bets like Perfect Pairs can skew it too... Lol

yeah happens. blackjack and video poker often weight different so the tracker looks BROKEN after a switch, esp if live dealer gets excluded

Yeah, that "reset" is usually just weighted play catching up, not magic. I had one go from 68% to 31% the second i left blackjack for jacks or better because vp was only counting 20% toward the reload... Shady as hell imo!!!

I’d check the promo’s eligible-game list first 😭 switching from blackjack to video poker could change how much actually counts toward the rollover.

Could be a game contribution issue rather than an actual reset.

Nah, the bigger tell is the tracker itself is usually cheap, laggy garbage. I’ve had progress sit wrong through blackjack, then after a poker sit-n-go or even a relog it “fixes” itself hours later, same bets, different number, because their backend is held together with tape tbh!!!

Could be game-specific wagering rules, but Power.win’s bonus terms would be the first thing I’d check.

That’d annoy me too, I’d check the promo terms to see if switching games stops certain bets from counting.
