withdraw fee review

I’ve been keeping tabs on the “hidden” costs of gambling lately and these withdrawal fees are starting to make me more suspicious than usual. Some places keep it reasonable, but others act like moving your money back to you is a deluxe spa treatment. I had one crypto payout recently where the fee ate half a buy-in for a 1/2 cash game. At that point, might as well frame the transaction receipt for the memory.

I’ve heard there are some newer crypto casinos promising zero withdrawal fees, but I always wonder what the catch is. Are they just padding the spreads elsewhere, or is it actually possible to cash out without feeling like you lost a prop bet to the house every time? Also, for the folks doing bank transfer or cards, does it still get gougy or is crypto where most of the wild fees happen? I keep a spreadsheet but honestly, I think it’s just turning into a wall of shame at this point.
