crypto casino changed btc withdraw fee after i already requested payout.

requested a btc withdrawal last night and the site showed a certain fee, which i was ok with. few hours later, before it even got sent, i notice the fee has gone up, and they say it’s “current network fee.” i get network fees can change, but changing the payout fee after you already lock in the request feels off. not like they were paying out during some huge bitcoin rush, either. site support just repeats “it’s in terms,” but shouldn’t you know your withdrawal cost upfront?

i’m used to volatile odds on slots or even shifting minimums on roulette, but fees should be concrete once you hit confirm. anyone else run into this, or is this just becoming standard across these crypto casinos lately? still feels shady to me, but maybe i’m missing something.

Nah, you’re not missing anything. That’s not “just crypto being crypto,” that’s a casino keeping the cashier door deliberately foggy so they can wiggle later. If I hit confirm on a withdrawal, that number should be the number. Full stop!!! I’ve dealt with enough online casinos to know the pattern: the games page is polished like a church trumpet, but the cashier page looks like it was assembled during a power outage. And somehow support always turns into a parrot reciting “terms.” Great, frame the terms and hang them in the lobby. If the fee can change after request, then the request was never actually confirmed, was it? That part annoys me more than the fee itself. It’s sloppy at best, sneaky at worst.

Yeah, thats shady. If the fee isnt locked at request, the casino gets to repaint the number after the fact.

Pure cashier nonsense. If a slots spin locks at confirm, why doesn't a BTC fee, did they even show the txid after?

marcus, not always casino-side sooo cleanly. i’ve had btc cashouts sit unsent, then the eventual tx shows they overpaid the mempool rate anyway. that’s just sloppy queueing more than some master scam. same reason i quit playing blackjack there if the cashier feels like a misc folder.
