tx fee ate winnings

Was up a nice bit playing roulette on a crypto site, cashed out and the withdrawal fee was way more than I expected. Not like a couple bucks, it straight up knocked my payout into the red after accounting for what I put in. I get that fees are baked into these things, but isn’t this getting out of hand? Hard to stay disciplined and keep a solid record when you can’t predict what’s coming off the top every time. Wouldn’t mind hearing if people just eat it, or if there’s a trick to timing these fees better.

Yeah, it’s out of hand. If a crypto casino can’t show a clean withdrawal cost before you hit cashout, I treat it as junk and move on. I’ve had sites change the number right at the end, and support just acts confused.

Yeah it’s getting old hearing people act like the fee came out of nowhere. I did the same stupid thing once, pulled a small btc cashout after a poker session and got shaved clean, learned real fast crypto punishes little wins, roulette just made it show up faster
