sportsbook review after live odds kept freezing right before i tried hedge.

just had a weird run-in with a sportsbook where the live odds kept freezing up every time i went to hedge a bet. it wasn’t just a one-off, happened three separate times today, right when i needed a quick line switch. cost me a decent chunk since i couldn’t lock in a profit. not sure if this is a tech thing or if they’re stalling on purpose when the markets move fast.

curious if anyone else ran into delays or lockups, especially when trying to hedge or cashout. makes me want to stick to pregame lines unless i hear some good fixes or workarounds.

Yeah thats the oldest live-betting scam feeling on earth, line “freezes” for 8 seconds and comes back 20 cents worse. After that I just quit hedging in-play and stick to pre-match stuff

8 seconds is an eternity live, that's not a freeze that's a feature, same junk in poker apps too

What gets me is people call it a glitch when the same book is magically instant taking your stake, then suddenly thoughtful when you try to get out. Had that on a crypto casino book with unsettled bets hanging forever after a score change, sooo nah, that smells more like policy than tech to me

Nah the part people keep dancing around is liquidity lol. If you’re trying to hedge live on thin crap like alt totals, player props, random 2h lines, that shiny number on screen is basically fan fiction. I learned this the hard way on nba player ladders, looked hittable, then right when i went to flatten out, the market went ghost and i ate it. Insanely annoying, and yeah i’m a little salty when dudes act like live hedging is smooth money lmao. On big sides/totals, maybe. On thin live markets? The book’s menu is lying to your face.
