finding reliable sports news

Transfer rumors and injury reports spread quickly online, but not every post is accurate. I prefer checking trusted sources before using team news to form an opinion about a match.

i put more weight on the team’s own injury update than on transfer chatter. that gives a better basis for judging who’s actually available, while transfer talk doesn’t necessarily say anything about who will be playing. the team’s update is the useful part when i’m trying to work out who’s in or out.

I do put more weight on the club’s injury note. Transfer talk hasn’t helped me work out who’s available (not once, really). I remember seeing rumours that a player was fit, then the club update came through and he was still out. That was enough to make me stop treating those posts as useful for figuring out who might be playing.

  • Rumour said he was fit

  • Club update said he was still out

Could’ve saved myself the scrolling around for a straight answer.

Doubtful means he plays.

Trusted sources is a low bar, half the "reliable" ones just recycle the same rumor anyway lol
