anyone been straight up scammed by a casino site? what happened

so i’m starting to wonder if i’m being paranoid or just unlucky, because i’ve had some weird withdrawals lately. cashed out after a sweet slots run, but then they hit me with “account verification issues” even though i sent in all the docs. now it’s just “in review” for like 10 days. not the first time a site has made me jump through hoops, but this one feels a bit shadier. i’ve seen threads about outright scams before, but i want to know if folks here actually had money straight up disappear, not just slow pays.
