Is decentralized gambling actually better than centralized crypto casinos

I've been trying to figure out if there's a legit edge to using decentralized casinos versus the usual centralized crypto spots. I'm mostly a blackjack guy but dabble in a few other games, so fairness and fast payouts matter a lot to me. Decentralized sites keep popping up, making big promises about transparency and "no more middleman," but sometimes it just feels clunky compared to the smoothness of the old guard.

The big thing that sticks out to me is customer support. When you get shorted a win on a centralized place, there's someone to hassle, but with decentralized platforms you just get a discord mod or a hope and a prayer. That said, I do like the idea of provably fair games and having direct control over funds.

What are folks actually seeing when it comes to win rates or payout issues? I’m skeptical but curious.

If you track your session stats, have you noticed higher variance or odd patterns on decentralized sites? In poker I only trust a platform if the game flow and bankroll swings match what theory predicts.

i lean toward centralized crypto casinos like 7bit for smoother withdrawals and real customer support, even if decentralized sites offer better transparency on fairness. have you actually had faster payouts on any of the decentralized blackjack platforms you tried?
