Max bet rule during bonus

so i grabbed a deposit bonus at one of the crypto joints last night, which looked fine print-wise, except when i got to blackjack live dealer it wouldn’t let me go over this random max bet. not just per hand, but like if i tried to split or double the system says “over max bet for bonus play.” never had a site lock down the bonus rules like that - usually they just threaten to void your winnings if you go too high. this one has tech in place, so i couldn’t even misclick if i wanted.

i get the point is to stop people from yolo’ing their bonus balance in one swing, but it basically forced me to grind $10 hands over and over. i got so bored i started naming the virtual chips, which is the level of life i’m at now.

anyone else had sites actually restrict your max bet at the table during a bonus? is this getting more common?

Split counts TOO.

Yeah, more common now. They’d rather hard-cap it than argue later, same as slots bonuses that quietly fence you into penny-spin boredom. I’d almost rather they just say “no doubles, no fun” and be done with it.

they hate doubles more than card counting now, longevity is the whole bit 😅

$10 hands, dammmn, that's the part that gets me. Bonus turns into shift work fast
