stake reload bonus says max bet is $5 but live blackjack let me do more, am i cooked

The reload bonus said max bet is five bucks but I was able to put way more on the table in live blackjack. There was no warning or pop-up about it, just let me play. So now I'm wondering what the point of that rule even is if their own system lets you go over. Anyone actually get withdrawals after going over the stated max? Or does it just mean they can use it as an excuse to deny you later if you win big?

Not sure if it's worth pushing for a win if they might just say I broke the rules even though they let me do it. Has anyone dealt with this? The whole crypto casino scene seems like the wild west with this stuff. If they can change their mind after the fact it kind of defeats the whole purpose.
