Bonus max bet limit on reloads?

Every time I pick up a reload bonus, I always see the fine print about max bet limits. The problem is, it’s hardly ever clear if those limits apply only to the original welcome bonus or to every reload, even ones you get through those regular email promos. Sometimes the live chat support gives a straight answer and other times they sound like they’re reading out of a rulebook, so I never really know if it’s enforced or just written there for show.

I mostly play roulette, tossing some larger bets on my favorite outside spots, so these caps make a big difference to how I can spread my bankroll. I've heard some folks say you get banned or winnings wiped if you go even a little over, but others have gone over a few times and never had an issue. Anyone here been on either end of that? Is the max bet thing actually enforced with reloads or is it more case by case?
