Live dealer video quality: why is some crystal clear while others are pixelated.
I’m running into something weird on a few crypto casinos lately. Some of the live dealer tables look almost 4K, totally clear, zero blur even if there’s lots of motion. Then on the same site, click over to another game and it’s like watching early YouTube - faces are just blobs and you can barely make out the chips. Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s prime time or dead hours, or if I’m using mobile or desktop.
It’s definitely not just internet speed on my end because I ran a few tests and other streams work fine. Starting to wonder if it’s the provider for each game or if the casinos just get what they pay for when it comes to the streaming setups. Not sure if there are standards for live dealer quality, or if it depends on location too. Always assumed bigger poker rooms or roulette wheels would have the best video but lately even blackjack gets both ends of the spectrum.
Has anyone else noticed a huge difference between tables or is this just me being picky?
It's definitely not just you. The video quality usually comes down to which provider is running the table, not the casino itself. Some use outdated cameras or cheaper hardware, so you can get a crisp blackjack feed next to a blurry baccarat table. Even NetEnt sometimes has sharp streams but odd camera angles that make things feel off. In my experience with blackjack, the bigger tables don't always get better gear either, especially off-peak. I wish crypto casinos were more upfront about stream specs, but for now it's a roll of the dice every session. Have you noticed if certain providers are always low-res for you?
