live roulette chips placed late even tho timer still had 3 seconds left

was playing live roulette earlier and kept noticing my chips getting placed super late. like, i’d hit bet with a few seconds left on the timer not cutting it crazy close or anything, but sometimes they’d pop up after the timer finished, or the dealer would say no more bets as my chips landed. doesn’t happen every time, but enough that i’m starting to worry if i’m missing out on actual wins because of it.

i’ve got decent internet and usually play from my laptop, not my phone. it’s not the end of the world, but i’m trying to get more consistent and this kinda messes with the rhythm. does anyone else have this happen? are there tricks to get more reliable timing for your bets, or is this just part of live dealer life?

Nah, I’d push back on the “my internet’s decent so it should be fine” bit. Live Dealer isn’t some clean stopwatch setup, it’s a video feed, a betting UI, and a backend all coughing at each other!!! I’ve had it on a wired laptop with nothing else running and still saw the interface feel sticky. Lovely. Only “trick” I trust is boring as hell: have your chip size picked and your spots decided early, not in the last few beats trying to be cute.

Tbh this is why live casino on online casinos gets under my skin. I had a winning roulette hit get voided once as a “timing issue,” and funny how that never seems to happen on the dead spins 🙃

yeah this happens and i learned it the dumb way after blaming my wifi for a month. the timer u see is not the real cutoff its ur stream lagging behind the server by a beat, live roulette loves that little scammy shrug. i stopped betting with under 5 sec left and hated being right about it tbh

Lol yeah, timer ain't dealer-close. Live lag is REAL. Blackjack feels cleaner
