stake live roulette voided my win saying late bet but timer still showed 2 seconds

Last night I was on a decent run, trying out live roulette and placed a bet with 2 seconds still on the on-screen timer. Everything seemed normal, but after I won, my bet was voided and the system claimed it was a late bet. I’m pretty careful with timing since I usually play blackjack and I know how crucial a half second can be. This time, it felt like the window was open and I wasn't pushing it, but the result just got thrown out.

What I’m wondering is, does the displayed timer ever lag behind the actual dealer cutoff? Like, is there a delay because of video streaming or something else? I play on a bunch of crypto casinos, so maybe their setups aren't all the same. I get the need to lock bets, but if the clock said I was good, then that's got to matter, right? Wouldn't it mess with trust in live games if the timers can't be trusted? I really want to figure out if this is a tech glitch, bad luck, or if the rules are different than I thought.
