why some online casinos have different deposit limits for credit cards.

noticed lately that deposit limits with credit cards jump all over the place depending where i play, like sometimes it’s 200, sometimes over 1k, and a few places i saw 500 max per transaction. crypto limits seem way higher or just unlimited, so why’s it so different for card deposits? guessing it’s not just about the casino itself but maybe their payment processors or the bank rules too.

maybe it’s a regulation thing in some countries or just certain casinos trying to keep things safer for new players. feels like there’s more to it though, especially since some places change limits for you after a bit of play. wondering if i’m missing something, or if this is just normal in the live dealer scene.

500 max per transaction is the part that always looks goofy to me. Roulette money somehow gets precious only when it touches a card, apparently

$500 is the weirdly standard fake-flex cap, seen it constantly tbh

$500 always screams promo math to me, like they want the bonus bite-sized and the chargeback headache capped, cheap stuff

That 500 max per swipe thing is usually the processor, not them 😒

Nah, that $500 cap is the bit that gets me, on live dealer blackjack it’s basically bankroll pacing with extra steps.

Mcc caps are dumb, poker gets clipped too fast...

Blackjack gets kneecapped fast when the minimum bet's 25, tbh

Yeah, normal. Cards get slapped by banks and processors. Crypto doesn't. Slots sites doing $500 chunks isn't mystery, it's chargeback babysitting...
